Born in Leonardtown, Maryland, January 13, 1936. Charlotte Hall Military Academy. Maryland National Guard (sergeant), 1952-60. Owner & operator, Wood's Food Rite. Board of Directors, Mid-Atlantic Food Dealers Association, 1976-83 (president, 1980). Member, Charles County and St. Mary's County Democratic Clubs; Rescue Squad, Mechanicsville Fire Department; Mechanicsville and 7th District Optimist Clubs; Mechanicsville Moose. Married; nine children.
