DEFUNCT DEPARTMENTAL AGENCIES

AUTOMOTIVE SAFETY ENFORCEMENT DIVISION
Under the Field Operations Bureau, the Division was reorganized in 1997 when it merged with the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division to form Motor Carrier and Automotive Safety Operations.

COMMERCIAL VEHICLE ENFORCEMENT DIVISION
Under the Field Operations Bureau, the Division's duties were assumed by Motor Carrier and Automotive Safety Operations in 1997.
